Actress Eva Longoria is promoting a new campaign focused on celebrating the accomplishments of Latino families.
The Firsts Campaign is meant to celebrate Latinos who were first in their families to achieve milestones, such as graduating from high school or college, opening their own businesses or being the first to vote. It also calls on Hispanics to share their own "firsts" stories.
Longoria announced the campaign through a video released on the Latino Victory Project's website. In it, she says she's "inspired every day by the many Latinos and Latinas I see who dare to dream big and who become the first in the family to accomplish something new."
